Production of [11C]-Methyl Iodide or optionally [11C]-Methyl Triflate

A flexible and completely automated synthesis system for routine production of [11C]-Methyl Iodide or optional / [11C]-Methyl Triflate based on the generation by gas-phase synthesis. The fully automating synthesis for MeI takes only 7 min.

Using in-target produced [11C]-Carbon Dioxide, high specific activity preparations are produced ranging from 15 Ci/┬Ámol to 50 Ci/┬Ámol depending on the purity on the used target gas. Up to 75 sequential / [11C]-Methyl Iodide / [11C]-Methyl Triflate / [11C]-CH3I preparations are possible from a single box set-up.
